As Saudi Prince rose, Bin Laden empire crumbled

As Prince Mohammed bin Salman grew more powerful, rising to crown prince in June 2017, the Bin Ladens experienced a dramatic fall from grace. All three Bin Laden brothers were detained in an an anti-corruption drive in November 2017. Bakr bin Laden, the head of the Laden family, is still in custody.
