Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French president Emmanuel Macron were awarded UN's highest environmental honour, the Champions of the Earth Award along with four other environmental changemakers. PM Modi and Macron were recognised in the Policy Leadership category. The Cochin International Airport also received the award in the Entrepreneurial Vision category.
