Government reaches out to many Bharats with three Ratnas

Former President Pranab Mukherjee, late Assamese singer Bhupen Hazarika and late social activist and RSS veteran Nanaji Deshmukh have been conferred with the Bharat Ratna. The award is being conferred after a gap of three years, the last being in 2015.
