India wants China to implement the disengagement understanding on the LAC in eastern Ladakh which was reached following talks by ground troops commander of the Indian Army and People's Liberation Army (PLA) following the June 15 faceoff in Galwan Valley. However, sidelining these talks, China again made incursions at new spots along the LAC making one wonder if 'multilateralism' can counter China's aggressive tactics.
