The doubling time for Covid-19 cases in Mumbai, India's worst hot spot, is now 29 days. It puts Mumbai in a safe zone of sorts, said state Covid task force member Dr Shashank Joshi. “We have either bent the curve or are on the verge of it..if this trend continues for a month, we will be able to handle Covid-19 very easily,” said Joshi. On May 31, the doubling rate was 13 days.
